What this tool does
CMYK to HEX produces a rough sRGB screen equivalent from four process-color percentages. The conversion is deterministic in this calculator but not color-managed for a specific print process.
Enter the values in the calculator above and choose Calculate. The calculation runs in your browser; the inputs are not intentionally sent to a Colormapped application server.
How it works
- Convert each CMYK percentage to a 0–1 fraction.
- Calculate approximate red, green, and blue channels after the black component.
- Round RGB to 8-bit integers.
- Encode the RGB result as a six-digit HEX value.
Worked example
Input
cmyk(62% 62% 0% 6%)Output
#5B5BF0The simple formula returns RGB 91, 91, 240. That screen value is an approximation of the numeric CMYK input, not a measurement of printed color.
When to use it
- Build a rough web preview from a CMYK reference.
- Move print-oriented values into a mockup before profile-aware assets are available.
- Understand how four simple percentages map into three screen channels.
Accuracy and limits
- The conversion does not model ICC profiles or printer/paper behavior.
- Two different real print setups can use the same CMYK percentages and still look different.
